Plastic Recycling doesn’t work and will never work
We learned about Judith Enck through our plastic networking with friends. Judith is a highly dedicated professional and advocate with a long, distinguished career in environmental protection issues. She was the Regional Administrator at the US Environmental Protection Agency appointed by President Obama and served as Deputy Secretary for the Environment in the New York Governor’s office. Judith is the founder and President of Beyond Plastics, a national project with the goal of eliminating plastic pollution everywhere. Judith is a visiting faculty member at Bennington College where she teaches a variety of courses on plastic pollution and how to be an advocate. Barbara took her course titled ‘Beyond Plastic Pollution’ and was highly motivated to become a much stronger advocate curbing plastic pollution. Judith is a remarkable woman and we are grateful for her work.
